Instabee and Magasin Revolutionize In-Store Pickup with Express Click & Collect Locker Solution

Magasin, Denmark's leading department store, and Instabee Group, the leading tech logistics company, are proud to announce the launch of an innovative new store-packaged locker solution. This enhanced collaboration builds on their successful partnership and offers Magasin customers a fast, more convenient, and seamless shopping experience.

Initially partnering in October 2024 for parcel deliveries, Magasin quickly recognized the potential for a deeper collaboration. The new store-packaged locker solution allows customers to order items available in Magasin stores online and pick them up from a secure Instabox locker directly within the department store, bypassing traditional checkout lines and saving valuable time.

Developed by Instabee’s dedicated tech team, the new product was rigorously tested during the summer of 2025. Following a successful pilot in June, Instabee began installing its own Instabox lockers in Magasin stores, replacing previous solutions. Customers can now book parcels to Instabox lockers across Denmark, as well as to the new Instabox lockers within Magasin department stores in Copenhagen, Lyngby, Odense, Aarhus, and Aalborg.

The new locker service ensures that if an item is in stock, Magasin staff will pick it up and place it in a locker within 0-3 hours, ready for the customer to collect that receives a text message. This offers a significant advantage over previous systems.

In addition to the Express Click & Collect in-store service, customers can also continue to order parcels from Magasin and have them delivered to all other Instabee lockers throughout the country.
